I was holding the bloodworms with my fingers to get him still enough to get a decent pic of him. He only nipped me once and was quite careful of my fingers after that.

Can any one tell me if Fred is a boy or a girl?

The big loach in my tank is alfa of the tank as wierd as that sounds, but he is the biggest fish in there! He has nothing to do with the puffer but the compressor, being a little explorer found his way under the rock where the big loach calls his home. The loach apparently is very territorial and picks on the compressor all day and night. Has anyone ...

I have a compatability problem with my Convict Cichlid couple. He beats on her.

They were the only two fish in a 20 gallon high. They had several batches of young then he nipped her tail until it was almost gone. They've been separated for almost a year. She's completely physically healed. How can I re-introduce them to one tank - without this happening again? She's in a 2 gallon. Neither of them leave their flower pots ALL DAY long.

OK guys here goes. Boo started life like any other mass produced albino tiger oscar, in a slimy pond/vat/tub with his bros & sisters, trying to get some food & hanging out. Then one day some idiot scooped him & some brothers & sisters out of the slimy pond/vat/tub. The idiot/idiots then decided it would be cool to take a syrienge loaded with blue dye & shoot em all full, then throw them into a tidy bowl blue holding cell/vat/tub & feed em some blue dye food. Thats right ...

Ok, so ive got this 8 inch oscar, who ive decided to keep cause hes just so cool, lol Well, i accidently dropped in some of my old turtles food, which is tetrafauna reptomin, and mostly protein. He eats this all up, gulps and gulps it like he has never ate a day in his life. Ive tried the hikari oscar food, and he wont eat much. Should i keep going with it or what? Its 42.5%protein mixed in with a few other things. Suggestions?

Thanks

On a recent fishing trip(lake grapevine) I was throwing my cast net and happened upon 2 largemouth bass and 2 perch about 2 inches on the bass, an 1 inch on the perch. Since I wasnt catching any fish I decided to spare the lives of these fishes and add them to my pond with my turtle and goldfish. After my turtle escaped after the last rain and ran off to the creek behind my house I decided to put together a tank, hence the current 55 gallon I aquired from craigslist. The bass have been happily ...

Well I ordered a Pink Convict Shooting for a female to try and breed with my Hybrid (you'll get to see him later once my pic posting problem gets straightened out). Anyways I got a Male instead. We needed somewheres to hold him so we threw him in the Hap's tank, and the damndest thing happened. HE TOOK THE PLACE OVER I'm talking about stealing my Alpha's cave and everything.
