The glass was all over the bottom of the tank and the light was inside the tank (while still plugged in...). Fortunately (for the cats) the Ghost Knife was still alive... he was pinned underneath some glass, but o.k. So now I have to go buy a new hood for a 20 gal tall tank.... Aaaarrrrgh! ...
