So, while I was watching my tank tonight after feeding time, I noticed that our male blue socolofi has a few dark spots on him. They look like bruises as they are the same color as he is, just darker. I noticed one on him the other night on his head behind is eye, but after a little while, that spot just disappeared and it was much darker than the ones he has tonight. Do fish bruise?? or is this something worse?? None of the other fish have any . . . .

I have heard of bruising on lips from lip locking......

Nope, these are on the side of his head. . .just a few. They come and go

Is there stuff in the tank he could be running into?
Is there an aggressive guy in the tank beating on him?

Watch the tank after lights out, top dog tends to be different from day to night.
If you have any stress coat on hand go ahead and add some to the tank, it can't hurt and it may help.
